A unique and elegant handcrafted tea light candle holder, made from salvaged Australian Blackbutt timber.
Wood has naturally occurring details such as knots, cracks and spalting which are part of the beauty of the material and not a sign of a faulty piece of wood. No two pieces of wood are the same, and where I can, I celebrate the uniqueness of the timber.
This product holds standard sized tea-light candles and comes supplied with a tea-light.
Woods Used:
This is made from a single piece of Australian Blackbutt (Eucalyptus pilularis).
Finish:
SATIN: A natural Danish Oil (Organoil) has been applied to bring out the warmness of the wood. This product produces a gentle natural luster, but is not a high gloss finish. This highlights the natural appearance of the wood. A secondary application of wood wax provides additional protection against scratches and scuffs. Although the holder has been hand buffed, with time and dust the finish will dull, so a quick buff with a cloth will refresh the warm finish to look as new.
